The Tu Organics Foundation Center is the education and training hub of the Foundation. The Center delivers practical, workforce-ready programs designed to help participants move from skill-building to income-generation and business ownership.
Through the Center, participants gain access to structured training, mentorship, and real-world tools that support both employment and entrepreneurship, especially within the beauty and service industries.
At Tu Organics Foundation, our mission is to empower underserved women—especially survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking, and incarceration—through education, entrepreneurship, and holistic support.
We transform lives by providing state-approved cosmetology training, financial literacy, and business development programs that lead to sustainable careers in the beauty and wellness industry. Through vocational education, mentorship, and eco-conscious practices, we promote economic self-sufficiency, personal healing, and community reintegration.

Founded by Mariatu Tu Browne, Tu Organics Foundation was created from lived experience and a deep understanding of what it takes to rebuild after hardship. As a survivor, entrepreneur, and business professor, Mariatu understands that vocational education, when paired with business knowledge and emerging technology, can be a powerful catalyst for healing, financial independence, and long-term success.
Our work focuses on bridging gaps in traditional workforce and cosmetology education by combining hands-on training with entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and digital innovation.
Tu Organics Foundation is the real-world extension of Tu Success! A Journey from Pain to Purpose. Founded by Mariatu Tu Browne, this nonprofit exists to uplift and survivors of abuse, incarceration, and trafficking to reclaim their lives through career education and self-worth.
In Tu Success! A Journey from Pain to Purpose, speaker, educator, and entrepreneur Mariatu Browne takes readers through the real-life transformation from welfare to leadership, from trauma to triumph. Her mission? To help women rise with dignity, direction, and destiny.
